The EDL-1 enhances EMU or EMU Black (excluding EMU CAN, requires 5-pin serial port) with logging capabilities. Featuring built-in Bluetooth and an SD card slot, it logs all EMU data channels, mirroring laptop logging. Data review is simplified: just remove the SD card (sold separately) and examine logs on a laptop, complete with timestamps. A battery backup ensures accurate date and time marking. The EDL-1 can log up to 11 hours of data on 1GB of card memory, with a 4GB or larger card recommended. Note that the EDL-1 does not include a memory card.
